Description: This interactive online pre-work module prepared learners for a subsequent in-person training on implementing a new performance evaluation system. By engaging with the module, they gained a foundational understanding of common biases in performance evaluations and strategies to mitigate them. As a result, learners arrived at the in-person training with a solid foundation in bias awareness, leading to richer discussions and deeper learning.

Description: Led a team to reimagine the onboarding curriculum for new sales team members. The comprehensive redesign included streamlining the structure to eliminate redundancies and reorganize content for optimal knowledge retention. Articulate Storyline was used to create a virtual guided tour of our factory, so new sales team members could understand how product is made in-house. In addition, weekly field observations were incorporated to build skills in authentic learning situations and provide opportunities for the new employee with build relationships with expert mentors. Weekly surveys were also created to gather real-time feedback to gauge their understanding and identify areas for improvement. As a result of the new curriculum, our team set an ambitious goal of increasing employee retention in this role by 15% within the fiscal year.

Description: The topic for this learning solution is providing training to educators, regardless of content, on how to implement comprehension strategies into their daily lessons and curriculum. This is important because according to the 2017 State of Literacy in Colorado Report, secondary students across the state of Colorado are not making gains in reading skills if they enter middle school behind their peers who are meeting grade-level expectations.
Learning Objective: Learners will be able to explain three evidence based comprehension strategies and the benefit for students.
